The Section for Child Safety and Well-Being provides integrated healthcare to children of all ages with concerns for abuse or neglect, and to children living in out-of-home care. Our board-certified child abuse pediatricians, pediatricians and nurse practitioners are experts in trauma-informed care. Our clinical services include:

• Forensic assessments, coordination of care, and treatment for physical injuries, neglect, sexually transmitted diseases, and medical complexity
• Education and support for children with problem sexual behaviors
• Counseling about healthy relationships, and adolescent sex education
